Oregon Scientific is back with two new eco-friendly scientific weather stations that are solar powered. Both models feature atomic clocks and a detachable solar panel, which will help juice up its internal battery. You can choose from the $69 Oregon Scientific +ECO Solar Weather Clock (RMR331ESA) or the $99 Oregon Scientific +ECO Solar Weather Station (BAR332ESA). The former features a wireless sensor for indoor and outdoor temperature/humidity monitoring. Designers Wu Kun-chia, Wang Shih-ju, Chen Ming-daw and Liou Chang-ho have designed the Flexia Solar FM radio that comes equipped with the flexible speaker and the flexible solar cell, allowing you to store this radio in your pocket. The gadget is also designed to be used within the station-waves range, but could be modified to receive internet radio via WiFi or WiMax. Collins America has recently introduced the BagAmp, a portable amplifier system that is perfect not only for the guitarist, but also for anyone seeking a highly portable vocal or music PA system. Measuring 3.5-inch x 36-inch x 8.7-inch and weighing 11.3 kilograms, the system adopts the company’s “Audio Piston” technology that eliminates the need for the rubber ring that holds a typical speaker cone in place. Pricing is at $699 for the US, and $749 for international regions. JVC and Kenwood have collaborated to release their first car navigation system, the MDV-313. This GPS navigation system features a DVD player, a built-in One Seg TV Tuner, a USB port, and Virtual 3D Maps. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing or availability so far. Thermaltake has unveiled their latest PC case that comes with a transparent window at the end of the left side panel that provides a good view of what’s happening inside the cabinet. Dubbed as the Thermaltake V3 Black Edition mid-tower “Black ‘n Stellar”, the PC case features four 5.25-inch external bays, one 3.5-inch internal bay, four 3.5-inch internal bays, one 2.5-inch internal bay, seven slots for expansion cards, one 120-mm on the rear panel (1,300 rpm, 17 dBA, Blue LED) and three 120-mm optional fans (one on the frontal panel, one on the top panel and other on the bottom panel). Active Media Products is back with a new series of USB Flash Drives, the Ken Elkinson. Available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB sizes, these tiny drives was named after the pianist Ken Elkinson and comes pre-loaded with six original Ken Elkinson piano solos in MP3 format. Not only that, these waterproof drives also feature a hologram of the Statue of the Liberty on its front, a USB 2.0 interface and provide up to 200X transfer speeds. Measuring just 26mm thick, the HDLP-S500 is I-O DATA’s latest ultra-slim LAN DISK Home NAS for the Japanese market. Coming in 500GB capacity, this portable NAS supports for open source Samba, iTunes music sharing, BitTorrent client and is DLNA certified, allowing it to be seamlessly networked via the built-in Ethernet port with other DLNA enabled devices within the home. The Fuchiview PPP01 is touted as the world’s first pico projector that uses Alkaline AA batteries instead of rechargeable cells. Measuring 11.5cm x 6cm x 2.6cm and weighing 117grams (without battery), the pocket size projector adopts the 3M Color Sequential projection engine to produce 10 – 12 ANSI lumens, 260:1 contrast ratio and a maximum of 640 x 480 pixels resolution. After releasing the Eee PC 1201HA in France, ASUS will also release this netbook for the US market via BestBuy. Priced at just $329.99, the 12-inch netbook features a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU with a 1GB RAM (upgradeable to 2GB), a 160GB HDD, and WiFi. Medion has recently dropped a new touchscreen all-in-one desktop PC for the Spanish market. Dubbed as the PC7216, the system boasts a 21.5-inch touchscreen display, a 2.1GHz Intel T4300 processor, an integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9100 graphics card, a 4GB RAM, a 1TB hard drive, a 1.3MP camera, a DVD burner, integrated speakers, WiFi and runs on Windows 7 OS.
