Amazon today offers the Garmin nuvi 285WT for only $129 as part of the Amazon Black Friday deal. The normal price of this navigation gadget is $250. The Garmin Nuvi 285WT comes with a 4.3-inch widescreen with text-to-speech capability and provides real time local weather, traffic, movie times, stock prices, gas prices, and news via MSN Direct. China-based QiGi will launch its SmartBook U1000 mobile Internet device (MID) that runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. The gadget has a large 5-inch 16:9 touchscreen LCD with a 480 × 800 pixels resolution, a 624MHz processor and a digital camera. In addition, the SmartBook U1000 also supports WiFi connectivity. After releasing the T9HD, RAmos also launched the T11TE, a Full HD 1080p portable media player that is based on Telechips TCC8900 processor. The gadget supports most of media formats including H.264, VC-1, XviD, DivX and RMVB video files. Here’s another upcoming custom cooled Radeon HD 5770 from MSI, the R5770-PM2D1G ‘Channel’. This Juniper-based GPU integrates 800 Stream Processors, a 128-bit memory interface, a core clock of 850MHz and a 1GB of GDDR5 memory set @ 4800MHz. The card also supports all the latest technology including DirectX 11 and CrossFirex, and has dual DVI, HDMI as well as DisplayPort outputs. EIZO Japan is preparing to launch a new 22-inch LCD monitor ‘FlexScan SX2262W’ for the Japanese market. This widescreen monitor makes use of Vertical Alignment (VA) panel and provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 6ms GTG response time, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 280 cd/m2 brightness and covers 95% of the Adobe RGB color space.
