Samsung has unveiled the pricing of the C680 and C490 active-shutter Plasma 3D TVs. As a reminder, the Samsung C680 supports a Full-HD resolution with a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, four HDMI ports, a USB port, Samsung’s Internet and DLNA AllShare. The Samsung C490 is a budget-range 3D plasma TV that supports HD (720p) resolution and a trio of HDMI inputs. The 50-inch PN50C680, 58-inch PN58C680, 50-inch PN50C490 are priced at $1,599, $2,299 and $1,099, respectively. [SamsungHub]

Lg has recently launched a couple of new Full HD 3D TVs in the South Korean market. Dubbed as the LG 50PX950 (50-inch) and 60PX950 (60-inch), both Full HD 3D TVs feature a 600MHz PDP panel (Plasma) with a wider view angle and a True Black filter. The 50PX950 and 60PX950 also supports DLNA and access to web services including YouTube and Picasa. The high-end 60-inch model is priced at around $4200, while the 50-inch model retails for $2500.

Sony's New 3D HDTV

Sony has just announced that it will be presenting its latest 3D TV complete with glasses at IFA2010 which is the largest consumer electronics and home appliances fair, from the 3rd to 8th of September. The TV will adopt the backlight and Opti Contrast Panel and will feature Motionflow 400pro and Image Blur Reduction which will help to dispay fast moving images much more clearly. We will just have to see what other features they unveil when they show this one off in September. [AVING]

Aimed at gamers, the W63D is the latest 3D Full HD monitor from LG. Supporting both 2D and 3D realizations, this new 23-inch widescreen monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 5ms response time (3ms in G-mode), 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 400 cd/m2 brightness. The ASUS VG236H is a 23-inch 3D LCD monitor that provides a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a fast 2ms response time and a 400 nits brightness. The display also supports a pair of active shutter glasses, an alternate frame sequencing, and an nVidia 3D Vision system to deliver 3D contents. Other features include HDMI, DVI and analog component video. The ASUS VG2365H will be released in the UK for £380.36 ($582). Each purchase comes equipped with an nVidia 3D Vision kit. [SlashGear]

Samsung today announced a couple of new 3D Fabrizio PAVV PDP TV series, which consists of the 680 – 50-inch (PN50C680G5F) and the 490 – 50-inch (PN50C490B3D). Both PDP TVs provide a vivid resolution on the screen and support DLNA, USB, DviX, Xvid, USB video, photo playback as well as Samsung’s latest energy saving eco-friendly features. Too bad, there is no info on pricing at this time.

It looks like the new Nintendo 3DS has sparked more of a revolution than they might have expected as some other devices are starting to pop are that are fully 3D but do not require the glasses. One of those products is this new Aiptek 3D Photo Frame. It will feature a 7 inch parallax LCD display that works without the need for any extra accessories.
