Aigo MID E500 Runs On Android

Aigo today released the MID E500 in China, which comes pre-installed with Android 1.5 OS. The gadget is powered by a 600Mhz ARM+dsp dual core processor, a 5-inch touchscreen display, a 128MB RAM, an 8GB or 16GB storage capacity and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The company claims that the E500’s battery can support up to 6-hour of video playback. Additionally, the Aigo MID E500 is capable of playing 720 videos and supports most of video formats such as MKV, RM, RMVB, AVI, MOV, and FLV. Folks in China are able to buy the Aigo MID E500 for 1599 Yuan or around $235. [Yesky]

Chinese-based company Aigo has recently introduced another one of its upcoming Mobile Internet Device (MID) called the Walkshow NX7001. Measuring 146mm x 75mm x 18mm, this pocket-sized device packs a 4.3-inch 480 x 800 touchscreen display, a Marvell PXA310 806MHz processor, a 2-megapixel camera at the back, a front 0.3-megapixel camera, a 128MB RAM, a microSD card slot, GPS, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, a miniUSB port, a 2600mAh battery and runs on Maemo OS. The Walkshow NX7001 will be sold for around $500, however, there’s no word on release date yet. [Engadget]

Aigo has recently unveiled the new tablet in the form of the Aigo 7007. This Android-powered tablet is powered by the RK2808 chipset with a 7-inch display, an integrated GPS navigation and supports 3G networking. Too bad, there is no info on pricing or availability so far. [Engadget]

Aigo N500 MID Uses Maemo

The Aigo N500 MID (Mobile Internet Device) is powered by an ARM-based 806MHz Marvell PXA310+ processor with the Maemo operating system. The gadget features a 4.3-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen display, coupled with a 128MB RAM, a 256MB ROM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, 3G (EVDO) voice and data support, GPS capability, an integrated VGA webcam, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a high capacity 2600mAh Li-on battery. The Aigo N500 MID is priced at around $586 in China. There is no info on when this MID will be released in the US market. [PConline]

Aigo-EB6301-e-Book-Reader

Chinese-based company Aigo has recently rolled out their first e-Book reader for the mass market called the EB6301. Measuring 164mm x 127mm x 11mm, the device boasts a 6-inch 600 x 800 E-ink display, a 2GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), built-in speakers, a USB 2.0 interface and a 1200 mAh Lithium-ion battery. Not to mention, the device also supports a wide range of file formats including TXT, PDF, DOC, HTM, HTML, CHM, JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, MP3, WMV and WMA. The Aigo EB6301 sells for 2,499 Yuan (about $366).
