AMD today unveiled the next-generation ATI FirePro professional graphics cards that adopt the ATI Eyefinity technology and support Microsoft DirectX11, OpenGL 4.0 and OpenCL. Newly introduced professional video cards include ATI FirePro V7800, ATI FirePro V5800, ATI FirePro V4800, and ATI FirePro V3800. AMD also announced the ATI FirePro 2460 Multi-View, a low profile, quad display graphics solution designed for financial institutions.

The high-end ATI FirePro V7800 features a 2GB of GDDR5 memory. Its massively parallel architecture can handle computationally or visually demanding applications without negatively impacting performance. The mid-range ATI FirePro V5800 has a 1GB of GDDR5 memory and supports for up to three independent displays through ATI Eyefinity technology.

The entry-level ATI FirePro V4800 has a 1GB of GDD5 memory and delivers 1.25X the performance capability compared to the previous generation with outstanding results for entry-level CAD users, all at value level pricing. Meanwhile, the ATI FirePro V3800 supports a 512MB of DDR3 memory and a 30-bit display pipeline that offers accurate color reproduction and exceptional visual quality. AMD Unveils The ATI FirePro V8800 GPU

AMD today unveiled its most recent graphics card in the form of the ATI FirePro V8800, which is perfect for users who work with large data sets or shader-intensive applications and who demand high-end computational power and the superior visual flexibility. The ATI FirePro V8800 supports hardware tessellation and other DirectX 11 (or OpenGL 4.0) features as the Radeon HD 5000 series, but with workstation-optimized hardware and software. The core is capable of handling 2.6 teraflops of computing power. In addition, the V8800 also has the same 1,600 stream (visual processing) cores as the Radeon HD 5870 and has the same 2GB of GDDR5 RAM as the Eyefinity 6 Edition board. AMD ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition GPU To Be Released Next Month

Here is good news for all PC gamers around the globe. The highly anticipated ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition will be launched on March 11, 2010 after the end of CeBIT show in Hannover, Germany. AMD has introduced a new budget-friendly graphics card to its range in the form of the Radeon HD 5570. The card integrates a 40nm Redwood GPU, 400 Stream processors, a 128-bit memory interface, a core clock of 650MHz and a 1GB of GDDR3 memory set @ 900MHz.
