Rydeen Mobile is about to unleash their latest Android tablet ‘gPad GCOM701′ into the market. Coming in black and white color options, the device packs a 7-inch 800 x 480 TFT resistive touchscreen display, an 800MHz Marvell Armada 166 processor, a 2GB RAM, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a front-facing camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 2x USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm headset jack and runs on Android OS. Another Android tablet has just been showcased at IFA 2010, this time from a German-based company ODYS called the iVISION XPERT. Weighing just 228 grams, this lightweight device sports a 600MHz ARM processor, a 5-inch touchscreen display, an SD card slot, WiFi, a 6-hour battery and runs on Android OS. The iVISION XPERT is scheduled to hit stores in January 2011 for 199 Euro (about $256).

RoverComputers has begun shipping their first Android tablet ‘RoverPad 3W G70′ in Russia. Weighing just 360 grams, this compact and lightweight device offers a 7-inch 800 x 480 resistive touchscreen display, a 600MHz RockChip 2808 processor, a 128MB RAM, a 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, an accelerometer sensor, WiFi, a headphone jack, a USB 2.0 port and runs on Android 1.5 OS. Samsung has officially announced their newest Android tablet ‘Galaxy Tab‘ for the mass market. This much awaited Android tablet is scheduled to be released in Europe in mid-September and in other markets including Korea, the US and Asia in coming months, however, there’s no word on pricing yet. To refresh your memory, the Galaxy Tab offers a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, a 7-inch 1024 x 600 touchscreen TFT LCD display, a 512MB RAM, a 16GB/32GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, a 3-megapixel autofocus camera at the back, 720p HD video recording support, GPS, 2.5G, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. BenQ has showed off their first Android tablet during this week BenQ’s Global Distributors Meeting in Taiwan. Called the nReader R100, the device packs a 667MHz Samsung ARM-based CPU, 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 resistive touchscreen display, a 4GB of flash storage, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, 3G, WiFi, an HDMI port, a 12-hour battery and runs on Android 2.2 OS. The BenQ nReader R100 is expected to be launched in Q1 next year in China, Taiwan and Japan, however, there’s no word on pricing yet.

ViewSonic has officially announced their first Android tablet that comes with phone functionality. Dubbed as the ViewPad 7, this pocket-sized device is equipped with a 7-inch 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen display, a 3-megapixel camera, a front-facing VGA camera for video calling, a full-sized SIM card slot, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a G-sensor, A-GPS, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. Archos has introduced another one of its upcoming Android tablet namely the Archos 101. Powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, the device sports a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 capacitive touchscreen display, a 0.3-megapixel front camera, an 8GB/16GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, 720p HD video playback support, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS. Powered by a Telechips TTC8902 720MHz processor, the device boasts a 7-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen display, a 256MB DDR2 RAM, a 2GB of flash storage, a miniSD card slot, a webcam, GPS, WiFi, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, a 1400mAh lithium battery and is pre-loaded with Android 2.1 OS.
