Olive Telecom will release the OlivePad VT100 Android tablet in India next month. The gadget supports a 7-inch TFT multitouch display, an integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 3-megapixel camera with a front camera, a 512MB RAM, a 512MB ROM, a GPS navigation support, an e-book reader compatibility, voice and video calls, a miniUSB port and a web browser with Flash support. Amazon has started selling the Archos 7 8GB Android-powered home tablet for only $190.71. FYI, the original price is $199.99. The Archos 7 Home Tablet provides constant access to the web, customization through Android Apps, and delivery of multimedia content. The gadget features a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with 800×480 pixel resolution and a 8GB of storage space, which is enough to hold about 4000 songs, 80,000 photos, or seven full-length movies. Its battery provides up to 7-hour of video playback or up to 42-hour of audio playback on a single charge. The Archos 7 also supports most of multimedia formats including AVI, MP4, MKV, MOV, FLV, MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, OGG and FLAC. [Amazon]

The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab will feature two cameras, apparently, one for taking pictures and one for video conferencing. As a reminder, this Apple iPad competitor uses a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, Android 2.2 OS, a 4,000mAh battery and a 7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen. German DSL provider 1&1 today shipped the Android-powered 1&1 SmartPad tablet. The gadget comes equipped with a 7-inch LCD WVGA touchscreen display, an ARM 11 500MHz processor, a 256MB RAM, a 1GB ROM and Wi-Fi N connectivity. There is also a USB WWAN dongle that can be used to stand in as a wireless bridge to 2G or 3G connections. Gome has entered the Android tablet market by launching the FlyTouch. This gadget is based on a 400MHZ VIA 8505+ processor with a 7-inch resistive touchscreen, a 256MB RAM, and Android 1.6 OS. The Gome FlyTouch Android tablet is price is 900 Yuan or around $132. [163]
NTT DoCoMo has recently introduced the Lynx Sharp SH-10B at the Communicasia 2010. This gadget has a high-resolution 5-inch touchscreen display and works with Android 1.6 OS. The Lynx SH 10B also has a very small keyboard for thumb typing and a track ball for navigation. The LifeTouch is the first Android 2.1-powered tablet from NEC that has a similar design with the Nintendo DS. The tablet comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display that will respond to both finger and stylus input. The LifeTouch is pretty impressive with its ARM Cortex A8 CPU, a Mobile DDR 256MB, Wi-Fi IEEE802.11b/11g, Bluetooth Ver.2.1 + EDR, a 3MP camera, GPS, accelerometer, stereo speakers, an SD/SDHC slot and a couple of USB 2.0 ports. Aigo has recently unveiled its AigoPad series tablets at a product launch event in Beijing. Available in 4-inch, 5-inch or 7-inch model, the AigoPad is powered by Android OS.
