Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs has recently unveiled a newly redesigned Apple TV that costs less than half of the price of its predecessor. Priced at just $99 each, the new Apple TV features a built-in power supply, HDMI, optical audio, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. The new Apple TV also provides access to Netflix streaming, YouTube videos, and photos from Flickr. This gadget can also stream content from a Mac or PC, and from a MobileMe account. Gadget accessory maker Sena has unveiled the Keyboard Folio iPad case that features a built-in Bluetooth keyboard. This iPad folding case will turn you Apple’s iPad into a netbook. The SENA Keyboard Folio supports 45 hours of active use, or 55 hours of standby. The case is currently available in four different colors such as black, tan, red and brown. Jensen has rolled out the JiPS-250i iPad dock that supports a rotating dock, allowing you to adjust the display positioning for portrait or landscape viewing. The gadget comes equipped with a built-in speaker and a video line-out connection, which can be used to attach a separate display. Jensen also provides a free companion app that features an alarm clock, a voice recorder, a calendar, an equalizer, a music player, a photo album, and a social networking integration. Apple has started selling the new 12-core Mac Pros via the Apple’s online store. The 12-core Mac Pro supports a couple of 2.66GHz 6-core Intel Xeon processors, up to 6GB of RAM, a 18x SuperDrive, an ATI Radeon HD 5770 with a 1GB GDDR5 memory and a 1TB hard disk drive. While Apple is known to create products that are innovative and break boundaries, one of the other things that they are good at is creating products that work simply with no frills or extra, unnecessary fluff. Apple has updated its Mac Pro series with up to 12 cores and up to 50 percent more performance than the previous models. The new Mac Pro desktops feature the latest quad-core and 6-core Intel Xeon processors, all-new ATI graphics and the option for up to four 512GB solid state drives (SSD). The processors run at speeds up to 3.33GHz and use a single die design so they can share up to 12MB L3 cache. It comes equipped with an ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics processor with a 1GB of memory and you can configure-to-order the even faster ATI Radeon HD 5870 with a 1GB of memory. What’s more, the new Mac Pro also provides two Mini DisplayPorts and one dual-link DVI port. Apple has announced the availability of the brand new 27-inch LED Cinema Display that boasts an impressive 2560 x 1440 resolution. The latest model features an iSight camera, speakers, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a MagSafe charger and a trio of USB 2.0 hubs. There is an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness based on the lighting conditions. You can connect your LED Cinema Display to any of the current lineup of Mac notebooks and desktop computers such as MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Pro. The new LED Cinema Display will be available in September 2010 for a price of $999. Additionally, Apple has also dropped the price on its existing 24-inch LED Cinema Display to $799 from its previous $899 price point.
