Active Media Products has come out with a new series of CompactFlash cards namely the 600X Pro. Designed specifically for professional photographers, these new 600x Pro series cards make use of MLC NAND flash memory chips and are able to provide read and write speeds of up to 90MB/s. The AMP 600X Pro series CF cards are now available for purchase via Amazon in four different capacities: 8GB ($99.95), 16GB (179.95), 32GB ($229.95) and 64GB ($299.95), respectively. Super Talent comes back with a new series of CompactFlash cards, the CFast. The card is available in two different versions: Type I (36.4mm x 42.8mm x 3.3mm) and Type II (36.4mm x 42.8mm x 5.0mm) along with 5 different storage capacities, 8GB and 16GB based on SLC (Single Level Cell) flash and 8GB, 16GB and 32GB based on MLC (multi Level Cell) flash. A-Data Announces Turbo 633X Series CompactFlash Cards

Here’s the latest addition to A-Data’s CompactFlash card series, the Turbo 633X. Coming in 16GB and 32GB sizes, these cards are capable of providing read and write speeds of up to 93MB/s and 92MB/s, respectively. Transcend Announces 400X CompactFlash Card

Transcend has once again expanded its CompactFlash card line-up by announcing the 400X series. Coming in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, these new cards are fully compliant with CompactFlash 4.1 specifications and capable of delivering high-speed transfer rates of up to 90MB/s read and 60MB/s write.
