NEC has recently introduced the latest LCD monitor for professionals. Known as the MultiSync Reference 271, the 27-inch LCD display comes equipped with a 10-bit P-IPS panel and supports 98% Adobe RGB, up to 2560 x 1440 resolution, a 5ms response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, a 178 degrees viewing angle and a 360 cd/m2 brightness level. The NEC MultiSync Reference 271 retails for a hefty $2,253. [PCLaunches]

The LCD-DTV223XBE is a brand new 22-inch LCD monitor from I-O Data that features a digital TV tuner and provides several video inputs. Designed for use in the office or home, the monitor has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 250cd/m3 brightness level and a 5ms response time. Additional specs include a couple of 7-Watt speakers, a DVI-D, a D-SUB, a couple of HDMI ports, and an S-Video. TVLogic has recently exhibited the LUM-560W 56-inch Quad HD 4K LCD monitor at the NAB 2010. Based on a 10-bit 1.07 million color LCD panel, the LUM-560W provides 4K (3840 x 2160) quad-HD resolution and adopts the TVLogic Color Calibration Utility for proper color alignment. This LCD screen also has four 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs, four 3G/HD/SD-SDI outputs, four HDMI inputs and four DVI-I inputs. No word yet on pricing. [NAB 2010]
