Creative Technology Ltd. comes back to the PMP market by releasing the new Creative ZEN X-Fi Style and Creative ZEN Style series. Available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB of storage capacities, the Creative ZEN X-Fi Style comes equipped with a bright 2.4-inch TFT display, the Video Out in X-Fi audio quality for watching movies on the TV, lossless audio support (FLAC), and a built-in speaker for music sharing. The gadget also adopts the X-Fi technology for crystal clear music. Its battery provides up to 25 hours of audio playback or 5 hours of video playback. Additional features include an FM radio, an alarm clock, a calendar and a voice recorder.

The Creative ZEN Style has a bright 1.8-inch TFT display, a built-in speaker for music sharing, an FM radio (Only with Creative ZEN Style 300), an alarm clock, a calendar and a voice recorder. Its battery provides enough juice for up to 32 hours of music playback from a single charge (@128kbps MP3). The Creative ZEN Style Series is currently available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB of storage space.

The Creative ZEN X-Fi Style is currently up for pre-order and will be available from April 14th onwards from $79.99 to $169.99, depending on storage capacity that you choose. Cowon has recently launched the Cowon J3 AMOLED PMP in the Korean market. FYI, this PMP has a 3.3-inch AMOLED (480 x 272) touchscreen display, a DMB and Bluetooth connectivity. Measuring at only 0.99cm thick, the gadget also features a built-in speaker, a voice recorder, a dictionary, a TV-Out, and a MicroSD Slot. The J3 is currently available in 4, 8 or 16GB of storage space. Its built-in battery provides an outstanding battery life with 64 hours of audio playback or 11 hours of video playback. You are lucky if you are living in Japan, because Hallods has recently released the eT4300 HD-capable PMP in that country. Measuring 72mm x 111mm x 15mm and weighing 150grams, the player boasts a 4.3-inch (800×480) touchscreen display, a 720p video output, and an 8GB of internal memory. You can also upgrade its storage capacity using an SD/SDHC memory card. Its battery provides up to 3-hour of video playback or 13-hour of audio playback. ICOO today introduced the E900P PMP that supports 1280p video playback. The player boasts a 5-inch 800 x 480 display, a USB OTG for data transfer, and a YPbPr port for video output. The ICOO E900P PMP supports most of famous multimedia codecs including H.264, MKV, MOV, RMVB, RM, AVI, PMP, DAT, FLV, VOB, MP4, MPG, and 3GP. Samsung has finally unveiled more details about the Beat R1 media player. Measuring 8.9mm thick and weighing at just 50 grams, the R1 boasts a 2.6-inch LCD touchscreen, an FM tuner, and bluetooth. Its battery provides up to 50-hour audio playback or up to 4-hour of video playback. Available in pink, black, and silver, the Samsung Beat R1 supports DivX video files and Samsung’s fantastic Digital Natural Sound Engine (DNSe) 3.0 sound enhancement technology. The Chinese gadget manufacturer RAmos today introduced its new PMP that is able to record 720p HD videos. The RAmos T7+ features HD 720p and 1080p video playback, a 7-inch (800 x ×480) display screen and an HDMI out. The gadget also supports most of HD video file formats including MKV and H.264. Archos today introduced their 2010 Vision series at CeBIT 2010, which consists of the Archos A14VG Vision, Archos A15VS Vision, Archos Vision A30VC, and Archos A43VB Vision. Priced at 35 Euros ($47), the A14VG Vision is a compact player with a 1.4-inch display, a 4GB of memory, and an FM tuner. Meanwhile, the A15VS Vision is one of Archos’ slimmest players that measures at only 6mm thin. This player supports FLAC, APE, and retails for 40 Euros ($54) for the 4GB model.

The Archos Vision A30VC has a built-in camera on the back, a 3.0-inch touchscreen display, and a 14 hours of battery life. The 8GB model is priced at 90 Euros ($122). The Archos A43VB Vision provides a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with an 8GB of internal memory that is upgradable via a microSD slot. The A43VB retails for just 100 Euros ($136).

Newsmy CTV8 PMP

Newsmy’s CTV8 is a combination between a portable digital TV viewer and a PMP. The combo gadget features a 4.3-inch LCD display, built-in stereo speakers, and an 8GB of storage capacity. The CTV8 also supports most of multimedia files such as AVI, FLV, WMV, MPG, MP4, ASF, MP3, and OGG. Additional features include a voice-recorder, an e-book reader, and a picture browser. Cowon V5 Windows CE 6.0-powered HD PMP

Cowon has introduced the V5 HD PMP in South Korea that is scheduled to go on sale on first day of 2010. Weighing 197grams, the player features a 4.8-inch (800 x 480) touchscreen display, Cowon’s Jet effects to enhance music and variety of multimedia codec support. In addition, the gadget also integrates a T-DMB, an RSS reader, a voice recorder, a calculator, a flash games, a notepad, a world clock, a digital frame mode, an e-dictionary and support for various mobile games from SKT. Its battery provides up to 10 hours of video playback or up to 45 hours of music playback. The Cowon V5 PMP will be available in three variants including a regular, a DMB and an e-dictionary models. Newsmy A70HD High Definition PMP

Newsmy’s A70HD portable media player is now available in China. Priced at $117.50, the gadget provides 768p compatibility, an 8GB of storage space, and a huge 7-inch 800 x 480 resolution display with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
