HP has begun shipping their newest pico projector namely the Companion. Aimed at mobile business users, this compact and lightweight projector is able to produce images up to 60-inches with a native resolution of 858 x 600 pixels. Acer is about to launch two new DLP projectors for the Japanese market in the form of the P1100C and P1200B. The P1100C provides 800 x 600 native resolution, 4,000:1 contrast ratio, 2,600 ANSI lumens brightness and up to 5,000 hours of lamp life (in ECO mode). Meanwhile, the P1200B supports a native resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels and offers 3,700:1 contrast ratio, 2,600 ANSI lumens brightness and up to 5,000 hours of lamp life (in ECO mode). In terms of connectivity ports, both projectors come with mini D-Sub15 pin, composite, S-Video, three USB and HDMI (P1200B). The P1100C And P1200B will become available in Japan from August 4th for 60,000 Yen (about $690) and 80,000 Yen (about $920), respectively.

The AAXA Technologies M1 limited pico projector is the brightest of all the company’s pico projectors. Samsung has finally launched the SP-F10M projector, which is touted to be the industry’s first LED-based data projector with 1000 ANSI Lumens of brightness and a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours (around 20 years with four hours of daily usage). The Samsung SP-F10M can project images in a XGA native resolution of 1024×768 pixels and the size of the projected image can go from 40-inch to 300-inch. Sanyo comes back with a brand new projector namely the LP-ZM5000. This high-end projector is ideal for large venues by displaying a bright 5000 ANSI lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and an extra large WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution. The company has also included a wide array of lenses that can be bought separately. The lenses range from ultra short throw to ultra long throw distances. To refresh your memory, this ultra-portable projector is able to produce images up to 80-inches with a native resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Apart from that, it also provides 30 ANSI lumens brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and up to 30,000 hours of lamp life. NEC has recently announced the addition of the NP115 projector to its NP Value series as a successor to the successful NP110. The new NP115 is perfect for mobile applications such as classrooms with portable carts or conference rooms where ultra-affordable and lightweight units are a must. The projector features a 2500-lumen of brightness, a 3D-Ready capability, a high contrast ratio of 2000:1, a native resolution of 800×600 SVGA and a 7-watt speaker. For your info, the SP-H03 is capable of projecting images up to 80-inches at WVGA resolution and has a LED lamp that is capable of 30 lumens of brightness, and up to 30,000 hours of lamp life.
