Denon is ready to launch seven new products in November 2010 as part of the Special Edition 100th anniversary. The new products are the PMA-A100 integrated amplifier, the DCD-A100 CD/SACD player, the DPA-A100 turntable, the DL-A100 phono cartridge, the AVR-A100 9.2Ch AV receiver, the DBP-A100 universal BD player and the AH-A100 overhead headphones. Sony Japan will release a new entry-level SACD player in the Japanese market next month. The Sony SCD-XE800 SACD player comes equipped with the company’s DSD (Direct Stream Digital) technology that produces a pure and perfect sound quality. Folks in Japan will be able to purchase the Sony SCD-XE800 SACD player for 37,800 Yen or approx. $429 each. [Sony]
Marantz will release their latest SACD/CD player in Japan. Known as the SA8004, it comes equipped with a USB DAC, so you can connect this player to your computer, iPhone and iPod. What makes the Marantz SA8004 more special is that it is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 and OSX 10.6.3 and above.
