Samsung Releases 22- and 26-inch LED TVs In India

Samsung has decided to release the 22-inch and 26-inch LED TVs in India. Both LED TVs support a full HD support, a high dynamic contrast ratio, Allshare, Anynet, HDMI ports and Touch of Color (ToC) design. In case you didn’t know, the LED LCD TV uses LEDs as their light source that produces better picture quality than a conventional LCD. The power consumption is also reduced by 40% compared to LCD HDTVs and does not use environment harming materials like mercury and lead. The 22-inch model retails for Rs. 25,000 ($536), while the 26-inch model costs Rs. 36,000 ($771). [SamsungHub]

Samsung has unveiled the pricing of the C680 and C490 active-shutter Plasma 3D TVs. As a reminder, the Samsung C680 supports a Full-HD resolution with a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, four HDMI ports, a USB port, Samsung’s Internet and DLNA AllShare. The Samsung C490 is a budget-range 3D plasma TV that supports HD (720p) resolution and a trio of HDMI inputs. The Samsung 3D Starter Kit is now available for $299 at Amazon. The kit consists of two pairs of active-shutter 3D glasses and a 3D Blu-ray movie (Monsters vs. Aliens). These 3D glasses are compatible with selected 2010 Samsung models including the Samsung C7000, C8000 and C9000 series LED-LCD HDTVs, Samsung C750 series LCD HDTV, Samsung C7000 and C8000 series plasma HDTVs and Samsung BD-C6900 Blu-ray player. Samsung has started shipping the Spinpoint MT2 2.5-inch of internal HDD. The drive is ideally suited for use in portable storage solutions, such as digital TVs, home media systems and set-top boxes, where quiet and cool operations are important. The Spinpoint MT2 features an 8MB buffer memory and provides up to 1TB for personal digital collections such as photos, music, video and work files. In addition, this 5400rpm HDD utilizes Samsung’s proprietary SilentSeek and NoiseGuard technologies to minimize noise levels during drive operation. Samsung today announced a couple of new 3D Fabrizio PAVV PDP TV series, which consists of the 680 – 50-inch (PN50C680G5F) and the 490 – 50-inch (PN50C490B3D). Both PDP TVs provide a vivid resolution on the screen and support DLNA, USB, DviX, Xvid, USB video, photo playback as well as Samsung’s latest energy saving eco-friendly features. Samsung has unveiled the spanking new monochrome laser printer for the South Korean market. Known as the Samsung SCX-3205K, this gadget boasts Wi-Fi, WPS encryption module and LAN port. This monochrome laser printer is claimed to have a fast 16ppm printing speed. The Samsung SCX-3205K measures at just 388mm x 299mm x 234mm. Too bad, there is no info on pricing so far. Samsung has finally launched the SP-F10M projector, which is touted to be the industry’s first LED-based data projector with 1000 ANSI Lumens of brightness and a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours (around 20 years with four hours of daily usage). The Samsung SP-F10M can project images in a XGA native resolution of 1024×768 pixels and the size of the projected image can go from 40-inch to 300-inch. Additional specs include a USB interface, MC Office and PDF files support, a 7 Watts mono speaker, Ethernet and an HDMI input. [Image-acquire]

The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab will feature two cameras, apparently, one for taking pictures and one for video conferencing. As a reminder, this Apple iPad competitor uses a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, Android 2.2 OS, a 4,000mAh battery and a 7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen. Samsung is about to drop their latest Full HD monitor into the market that comes with a built-in TV tuner. Known as the SyncMaster FX2490HD, this new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and has two 5W speakers, D-Sub, two HDMI and SCART connectors. The SyncMaster FX2490HD will hit stores in mid-August for 429 Euro (about $540). [PClaunches]

Announced back in June, Samsung’s newest pico projector ‘SP-H03‘ is now available for pre-order in the US via Amazon. To refresh your memory, this ultra-portable projector is able to produce images up to 80-inches with a native resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Apart from that, it also provides 30 ANSI lumens brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and up to 30,000 hours of lamp life.
