Nokia E5 Messaging Phone To Be Released In Australia, North America, And South America

Nokia will launch the new Nokia E5 messaging phone in Australia, North America, and South America. Announced at the same time with the Nokia C3 and C6, this new Symbian smartphone comes with a QVGA display, a full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, HSDPA/HSUPA, A-GPS, Ovi Maps with free navigation, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 5MP camera with LED flash, a 250MB of internal memory and a 2GB card in the box. Verizon To Release BlackBerry Bold 9650 Smartphone

The largest US mobile carrier Verizon will release the BlackBerry Bold 9650 via online on June 3rd, 2010, which is tomorrow. The smartphone will be available via Verizon Wireless Communications Stores starting June 10th, 2010. A non-camera version will also be available on June 3th, 2010. The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is Verizon’s first global smartphone to support GlobalAccess Connect, so it can be used for tethering in more than 200 countries worldwide. GlobalAccess Connect plans are available for $65 monthly access for 5GB allowance in the United States and Canada ($0.05/MB overage) and 100MB allowance in select countries ($5.12/MB overage). There is also a $155 monthly access option that offers 5 GB allowance in the United States and Canada and 200MB allowance in select countries, with the same overage rates as the $65 monthly option.

In case you didn’t know, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 features a 480 x 360 pixels display, a full QWERTY keypad, an optical trackpad, Wi-Fi, Verizon Navigator 6, stereo Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack, and a 3.2MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash. The Google Mobile App is now available for BlackBerry Storm and Storm 2. What makes this new version special is that you can search using your voice instead of typing your query. You just need to hold the green button and speak your query in English, Mandarin Chinese, or Japanese. Additionally, you can also use Google Mobile App to search your BlackBerry’s email and contacts. Bulgaria’s leading network carrier, Vivacom, will launch the Motorola Milestone that comes equipped with Android 2.1 OS on March 20th, 2010. Gigabyte GSmart G1305 Codfish Android

Gigabyte will launch two new smartphones in Ukraine, one running on Android 1.6 and another one running on Windows Mobile 6.5. Measuring 116mm x 56.8mm x 12.4 mm, the Android-powered Gigabyte GSmart G1305 Codfish features Quad-band GSM connectivity, tri-band HSDPA connectivity (900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz), WiFi, GPS, a 3.2-inch HVGA display, a 256MB of RAM and a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor. Meanwhile, the Windows Mobile 6.5-powered Gigabyte GSmart S1205 Cougar is a dual SIM smartphone that features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, Quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE connectivity, WiFi, GPS, a 128MB of RAM, and a 416MHz processor. Toshiba TG02 at MWC 2010

Toshiba has recently introduced two new Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2010. Known as the Toshiba TG02 and K01. Both handsets feature a 4.1-inch WVGA touchscreen and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The Toshiba TG02 is a tablet-shaped cell phone that is actually an upgraded version of the previously released TG01. Measuring 9.9 mm thick, the new model features a capacitive screen and a new 3D user interface. Meanwhile, the K01 is a slider handset with a sliding keyboard. Measuring at 12.9 mm, it will also be Toshiba’s first smartphone with an AMOLED screen. Both cell phones will have a microSD memory card slot that supports up to 32GB. Sony Ericsson has announced that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will go on sale on January 18th, 2010 in the UK. The Android-powered Xperia X10 will retail for £529.99 or around $861 (Unlocked). FYI, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 features a 4-inch touchscreen capacitive display with WVGA (800×480) resolution, an 8-megapixel shooter with Autofocus, LED flash, image stabilizers, smile and face detection, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi b/g. Acer Liquid A1 Android Smartphone Released In The UK

The Acer Liquid A1 is now available in the UK market. The company’s first Android smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor with a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Triband (900/1900/2100) HSDPA, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a 5-megapixel camera. FYI, Acer has decided to underclock it to 768MHz in order to prolong the 1,350mAh battery life span. Samsung i6500 Saturn

Three new cell phones from Samsung have been unveiled. The first handset is the Samsung i6500 Saturn, which is an Android smartphone featuring a full touchscreen display, a digital camera on the back, and Wi-Fi. Another unannounced Samsung phone spotted today is the Samsung SCH-i899, which is a Windows Mobile handset that has a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, a MicroSD card support and a 3-megapixel digital camera. There is also a leaked picture of the Samsung i8180/ i8180C with an unknown specification. The Samsung i899 and i8180/ i8180C will apparently be launched in China first.
